World Polio Day 2024 highlights
Dec. 4, 2024
More than 5,000 Rotary and Rotaract clubs organized nearly 8,000 World Polio Day actions in 142 countries this year — a new record for club participation, which increased 20% from 2023! From marathons to health clinics to lighting up landmarks, these actions show the unparalleled resiliency, commitment, and generosity of Rotary members in the effort to eradicate polio.
We want to especially celebrate Districts 4455 (Peru), 4380 (Venezuela), 4751 (Brazil), 4780 (Brazil), and 4420 (Brazil) for having the highest percentage of clubs register a World Polio Day action.
