World Immunization Week 2017 Around the World
Apr. 28, 2017
We know that protecting young and old from vaccine-preventable diseases is a global effort. This World Immunization Week, our partners, Rotary members and governments have come together to educate and advocate communities on why #vaccineswork.
Rotary works with its partners to make sure that no child is left behind when it comes to immunizing against polio. Our members support polio eradication efforts all over the world to ensure that we get to the finish line. Some participate in vaccination campaigns and others fundraise in their local communities. We know that no act is too small when it comes to fighting the disease.
#WorldImmunizationWeek is a huge, global event. People come together for a cause in the digital world to make a huge impact in the real one. By following the hashtag #vaccineswork and #endpolio on social media, we can see how people are getting involved around the world.
